This is our seventh project with Origin Housing Developments. The development, named as ICON7, is located on the corner of Camden Road and Dalmeny Avenue in the borough of Islington, and comprises 21 apartments. Each apartment will feature an outstanding specification including a designer fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, a contemporary bathroom and high quality flooring throughout. Each apartment also benefits from its own private outside space in the shape of a walk-out balcony or winter garden.
Large landscaped communal amenity space and secure areas for both bins and bicycle storage. The proposed redevelopment positively responds to Local and National Planning Policy, directives for sustainable development and the successful re-use of the site. Mass, height, scale, overlooking distances & dual aspect, daylight/sunlight, amenity space, parking, servicing, and cycle storage have all be considered in detail and appropriately addressed in the proposed development. A Code for Sustainable Homes Pre-Assessment has been undertaken and is issued in support of this application. This demonstrates that if the development is assessed under the Code for Sustainable Homes then it would achieve the equivalent of Level 4.
